The Chakra system is one of the systems within the anatomy of our energy body.
We have seven main chakras and they are our energy centers, whereas the meridians are our transportation system. The chakras connect to our well-being on several different levels: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
On the physical level, each chakra nourishes the major nearby organ or gland that governs other body parts, influencing their health.
On the emotional level, each chakra is charged with specific emotions. Some emotions open/feed it, some close/waste it. On the mental level, the chakras reflect our ability to support certain life principles (maintain certain thoughts) and have specific tasks such as regulating distinct aspects of our personality.
On the spiritual level, our chakras contain encoded information about the Universal principles and archetypes. Every time they draw in coded information from our surroundings (such as color and sound vibrations, or vibrations of another person’s aura, etc), mix it with their own and radiate this mixture as information about its owner. That's why sometimes we know a person without even talking to them or why other people’s moods have an affect on us!
